Letter #1

Mom and Dad and Family, How is everything? I arrived safely and got all my stuff unpacked and finally put away. I couldnt remember what bag i was supposed to open and not open but i figured it out eventually! It took me awhile to find everything and get it all situated but i love all the notes packed away and all the letters that i have gotten from everyone!! How is everything at home? how is preston and hannah and ashton handling everything? Did preston find a job yet? How is kelsey and jimmy? i sent out a letter yesterday to her but i dont know how long it will be to get back down there! hopefully only like a day or two. Everything is goin great here! Our district is really sweet and a way good group of missionaries soon to be! I had a companion named elder nelson but he tested outta our language classs so he moved outta our room and then i got partnered up with a new guy elder larsen. The other two elders in my room are elder mcgee and elder brown. Elder mcgee is just like me in like everyway possible.. We are the only ones in our district that have girlfriends waiting.... but i think that we will both end up marrying them! He is from missouri so he is the farthest away from the mtc.. The rest are like all from utah and went to BYU.. Anyways what do you wanna know? any questions or anything? How is work goin? Hows the world cup? you gotta keep me posted with all the games and scores and stuff!!! im dying not being able to watch any soccer at all especially the world cup! Everyone here is playin soccer as much as possible so they can look half decent when we all get to our countries.. We heard from elder oaks on friday night at a devotional. It was very very powerful!! My testimony grows every single day!! I have been tearing up the scriptures and preach my gospel to learn all the doctorine that i can.. I am hoping to finish the BOM by the time that our district leaves for paraguay.. We only get a half an hour for email so we have to really cram it all in in about 25 min so we can make sure it gets sent and that we make sure we get all our weeks events and spiritual experiences to share with all of you guys. It was hard at first getting used to the whole companion idea and having to make sure that they are always in your sight and can hear your voice! I almost felt like at first with elder nelson that i had a little kid to take care of.. He walked extremely slow and got distracted by everything! We get gym time everyday for 50 minutes so i have been running about 2 miles a day with a couple of the district. That way this nasty food doesnt make me gain any weight! Elder Mcgee is like a personal trainer or something so were working on my six pack and gettin me all buff.. haha So got any funny stories for me or that you want me to share or anything like that.. The spanish is slowing coming and i will eventually pick it up once i am out there amongst it everyday.. I just am really hoping for a good trainer that can speak the language really good and works really hard.. Yesterday we had to bear our testimony in spanish to a bunch of random people and have to at least to 2 people everyday as part of our district goals. Anytime that we have to pray out loud has to be said in spanish also. But its actually not as hard as i thought it would be. How is your summer goin preston? got any plans or anything before the summer is over? gone on anymore crazy adventures? Ashoton how is your fire soccer goin buddy? i cant wait to come back and coach you and hannah and do summer games with you guys!! Well my time is basically out so until next week. Oh by the way my P days are on fridays..
