I WANT CANDY!!!!!

Family,
We had a so so week with the work, we had a couple of days that were rough because our whole pension has taken their turn being sick so we switch off so that both companionsips can teach at least some lessons for the day. So it limited our time for teaching in only our area, not to mention we had a really crappy week with people not being home or being sick or busy. That really sucked but alot of funny things happened that helped us stay positive and willing to continiue with a good attitude. I am really glad to hear that grandma did good at the funeral and everyone was at peace. I prayed really really harde for that and its nice to hear that my prayers were answered. The plan of slavation is such an amazing thing and to have a knowledge of it and how we will live again together forever is amazing. Anyways i still have my debit card with me so i dont know what happened!!!!!!!! But you better get it figured out fast because i havent spent any money of taken out any money since the airport, so i dont know whats going on. We do get to watch conference as long as we have investiagtors... well thats what i think anyways. Its pretty stupid if it is that way because of all the people that should be listening to conference is the misisonaries. We only get to watch like a half hour of priesthood so that totally sucks, it starts a eight oclock here and we have to be back at the pension at 830 unless we are teaching and then we have until 900. So if you could send me the conference edition in english eventually that would be nice cause i wanna read all the talks and hear all the words of all the prophets!! I am way excited for it too. I am pretty sure that our next zone conference is like the 1st week in november. But if my packages are here i will get them this week because the trainers have more training in asuncion this week so they will leave tomorrow and then come back thursday. So i really hope they are there!!!! hahaha that means i get a new companion for a couple of days.... i am nervous and excited and scared all at the same time. haha i get ot be with elder urmston. He was the old AP and this is his last week is his mission. Once we are together he will have 5 days left in his mission!! how crazy is that!! But i think it will be fun... maybe i will be able help him pack his bags or something. haha NOT!! he is gonna make me work like crazy! haha i think we are spending one day in our area and one day is his, which is like a hour and a half bus ride, thats gonnna suck!! Anyways elder halls first name is weston. I feel really bad that kelseys letters havent got there yet! they sent out i think 3 weeks ago so they should be there any minute!!! Yes I willl continue to write preston and help him along hopefully.I know exactly how he feels and it can be really hard. I heard that jimmy has a girlfriend now??? Tell me all about it and if you dont know ask kelsey because i bet she does! Thats crazy! I havent really heard from him at all since i have been out. he emailed me once but thats it. Anyways here is all the things that happened this week that i keep on my list... oh ya hows the office first? Whats going on with that? Anyways... I figured out that our rent every month is 500 mil guaranies, thats only like 100 dollars in american money. Thats super super cheap!! haha if you could send me pictures of st george, like the whole city and of las vegas that would be sweet. Lots of people ask me about it and i have to tell them i live really close to LV and they wanna see my city and LV, so even if you have to print them off the internet or something. Hows johnny doing with soccer? I bet he is just tearing it up and danny is loving it. I think i really wanna play when i get back, so hopefully danny has a spot for me. I am gonna have to get back into shape work out like crazy!! haha So i dont know if i have told you this but our ward is HORRIBLE at singing, i swear all the dogs start howling and barking when we sing hymns. The people of paraguay... actually ALL latin americans SUCK at singing! haha my companion is seriously tone deaf! he makes dad sound like josh groban! haha oh ya so something i have been craving is jolly ranchers! so if you could send me a bag of those! i would love it! they have NO fruity candy like that here... wel they dont really have any candy here. It BLOWS! i get the most random cravings and i cant do anything about it cause i am millions of miles away from the closest place taht would have anything like that! Today is our last pday until next thursday. We dont have pday on mondays when we have changes because we have it thursday so anyone that gets changed can have a day to unload their things to the new area and get all situated. So i cant email next monday just to fore warn you. Sorry it will be ten days till the next email. Oh ya if you could some how get ahold of the line of authority for me from where i got my priesthood that would be REALLY helpful with our lessons! Also i need you to send me more garments... if could send me 6 bottoms and 6 tops that would be great! I want the tshirt kind that are all cotton and the bottoms that i have now. I wear medium tall tops and i am pretty sure 30 bottoms. Thank you! i can buy that at the temple but they are only the super low neck kind and i hate those!! Also if you could send me FHE activities that would be great and super helpful! They can be in english cause i will just translate them. Thanks mom! So i guess the other night i was talking in my sleep and elder hall said that i was calling out his name and talking to him in SPANISH! haha how crazy is that! i have had a few dreams in spanish since i have been here. Its pretty cool. Oh ya i know that i am asking for alot but these are all things that i figure out they dont have here really and just want them way bad. haha you dont have to send them all. But hot chocolate mix would be really nice and cake mix or cookie mix would be aweome!! these are all things that if someone wants to send a package they can include. If they want send candy tell them to go for it and send all they can! haha cause it doenst really exist here! candybars and fruity things like skittles are no where to be found so i would LOVE THOSE!! especially fast breaks and crazy core skittles or reglar it doesnt matter to me. Also kelsye will know what these are... She has them at here house always... they are like peanut butter bars with nuts that are AMAZING!! those would be way good too. haha i think i am really hungry right now. haha anyways we had a slow week but like i said lots of funny things happened. These cows ran through this yard and took out the clothing line.. one of the cows ran off and had a bra stuck on its horn and this lady was chasing it to get it back! haha my and comp and i were laughing SO HARD! Then yesterday, every sunday after sacrament we study at the chapel for 45 minutes, my comp decided we should make a list of how to be a good paraguayan while we studied. So we put seven points on the chalk board. Number one was drink terere. 2 drink terereíte ( the ite is guarani and basically means alot) 3 have a motorcycle 4 work for one hour a day 5 see number 1 for 4 hours 6 never live the law of chastity 7 have less teeth than brain cells. haha it was hilarious cause its really so true of everyone here!! hahaha So hows hannah and ashton liking school and soccer and whatever else is going on? Hows the whole family? are we having scripture study and family prayer everyday that we can? haha i love you guys so much! thanks for all your suppor t and love and help every week. I love hearing from you and reading all the dear elders! continue to write me through dear elders cause it really helps and tell lots of people to write me!! they can write whatever they want that is going on back home, its really nice to hear it and stay updated!! oh ya the pitures are totally just random things but the kids that you see is a family that we are teaching. the one with the horns is something that i drew on him cause he really is the SPAWN OF SATAN!!!!!! haha the others i can explain if you want me to next week. Love you oh ya and my shoes are doing great! thanks mom for caring about me so much! you really prepared me so well for this! and i have so many things that i have used that i would have never thought to bring! A trip to the big city Asuncion!

What a quick week!!! We had alot of things happen thats for sure. Well we figured out on monday that our baptism fell through... we talked to his wife and they are basically splitting up. He never wants to spend time with them and their whole family is just falling apart from it because all he does is work and then spend time with his mom and his niece oh ya and waste time drinking terere thats the nasty tea kinda stuff here. So that totally sucked when we found that out and so we had to focus all on lessons in with them on the importance on their eternal family and especially with the wife we had a few lessons with only her to help her out. I hope it works out for the better. They really need the priesthood in the family and a baptism for him would really help but he is just not ready right now. So that put a damper on the week cause everything was building up to that day and then it didnt happen. But on a lighter note... all week i have a little note card that i write all the funny or interesting or cool things that happen during the week. So here goes... haha my companion this week ran out of toilet paper and decided that he would just use his hands and water from the sink to clean himself up... now thats what i call a makeshift ¨latino¨rigged bude. I laughed so freakin hard when he came out and told us that he did that!!!! Me and elder hall the other amercan were just dying of laughter and disgust all at the same time. oh ya mom elder hall is from huntington beach. That sucks way bad about the whole kilie and jill thing. I hope that everything can work out and know i am praying for you dad!! haha oh ya so i saw a little boy here with the exact same jersey that hannah had from our soccer team!!! hahaha i have no idea how it got here but it had a big AYSO symbol on it and i just laughed inside. I get everyones dear elders everyweek and they really help me so much!! i love it when i get to district meeting and i have a big pile! keep telling EVERYONE to wrtie me through that cause it comes way faster and it REALLY HELPS SO MUCH!!!! We had a narly storm this week that totally knocked out the power for like 2 days at our house and that totally sucked cuase that meant no AC in our room for the night and it was SUPER humid from all the rain and everything. Oh so the same day my comp decided to wipe his butt with his hand we saw a little boy in the park totally going to town on his wedgie and then pulled out his hand and smelt it!! i was laughing so hard! hahaha We had bean soup for lunch one day and i just had to gag it down as fast as possible before i threw up and then chasted it down with TONS OF LEMONADE!!! haha we then contacted a guy that had a little strawberry field and all i could think about was the one we went to in cali with adam and i got trunky for like 20 minutes!! haha but i just found out that they are closing early so it looks like i have to cut this short for now!! i am sorry! i had a video to send to you of our pension but it looks like it wont finish in time so i will have to save it for next week. Everything is good though and no i havent got the pedometer yet. We went to asuncion today to sign more papers for legal things so i cheked and no packages were for me. Buti love you all and i hope you have a great week. I am sorry to hear about grandpa. that makes for really sad for grandma and everyone. I will keep you all in my prayers. But i prayed really hard last night for grandma sim and grandma eagar to have the spirit of comfort to be with them and know that grandpa will live again. I LOVE knowing that through the atonement of jesus christ we will live again, and through our righteusness we can live with our father in heaven again with our families forever. I know that we will all be together again and that is my favorite part about being able to share this gospel with someone!! Many people do not know that they can live together forever as an eternal family and i know that i need to share with knowledge with them anytime that i can. Whats grandma gonna do? how is she handling it all? Where is grandma sim gonna live? alone in the house or what? I really wish i could have been there for the funeral, hopefully i will get to for grandmas but as i read i had such a great sense of comfort over me and i know that it was my heavenly father blessing me for being and making the sacrifices that misisonaries make from their families. I love you all very much and thanks to you i am here... serving... bringing others unto christ and into the gospel... and bringing them salvation!! How great it is and how lucky i am to be doing the wonderful work. I need grandmas email so i can write her back when she writes me. I got all your dear elders today from you and kelsey and everyone else that wrote me. It was really good to hear everything that is going on!! Family,
This week has really gone by fast and we have gotten alot done!! We have received the assignment from our area authority over our mission to obtain a ward directory and go through the whole area and ward and find out who is active, less active, and in active. This is gonna take up alot of our days work because we have to go tot their house and find out where they live and why they wont come or whats the situation and then write in on the sheet and then send it into the area authority for them to analyze. Oh ya i forgot to mention.... we only have a month to do it in so we are really gonna have to crack down on the list and get goin. As for all the questions mom i will try my best to answer them all. The weather is pretty random right now and cant decide if it wants to be hot or cold. This week i was dying of heat cause is was SUPER HUMID and about 95 degrees everyday. Then finally on friday it rained and the humidity wasnt quite as bad. After it rained for about ten minutes it stopped and the smell totally reminded me of las vegas rain for some reason when i was little and played at grandmas or when we would visit. At night i am not cold at all its actually really nice in our room its just the bed that sucks. I cant email elder mcgee. So i havent heard anything from him. What else... I dont really need anything but i would love a pedometer to see how much i walk everyday!! or ya and some hot chocolate packets!! oh ya and if you want to send candy send things like skittles and starbusrts and fruity things cause it doesnt exist here at all!!!! lots of chocolate but nothing like that... Me and my companion have been working with alot of memebrs and visit them every single day. We dont really ever go to the bishops house except for lunch when his wife cooks for us. We always just have meetings after church on sunday with him. I will tell you what the way things function here are TERRIBLE, the deacons dont take off their jackets to pass the sacrament... the bishop is really unhelpful and not really a bishop cause he his like cold hearted i swear. haha just lots of things are way differetn but thats how things are in a third world country and havent been established very long in the church. Hermana Hilda washes our clothes every week for us so that is WAY nice and helpful. Today was the first day i bought groceries and it was way way cheep and wil last me a way long time. WE dont really have to buy that much besides like little snacks when we wnat them cause everyone wants to feed us always!! its great! so every second sunday of the month we are in charge of the talks and so i was first. I wasnt nervous at all which was really surprising but i ended talking for 20 minutes!!! haha i had no clue that i was up there that long. It went really well and i am sending home the english copy of it for you to read. I gave my first blessing... in the beginning of the week i did the anointing and friday i did another one but gave the actual blessing. It was way cool cause i was just laying on the couch during lunch reading the liahona and i got a promopting that i should practice the blessings in spanish. About 3 minutes later we got a call to give a blessing. Oh ya fun fact for the day... haircuts here are only 2 dollars!!!!! haha oh ya i forgot to ask kelsey... ask here for me if she has visited sister anderson yet? and about the new TI album!!! thanks! We taught a lesson the other night and their son was really sick and i looked at him and his eyes were all nasty and i could tell he had conjunctivitis so i told them what to do for it and how to help it go away and they wre really happy cause they were really strggling for money and coudlnt afford the doctor. So when we go back this week i will see how its doing!! i was really happy to be able to help them... i felt in that moment that i could do this for the rest of my life!! i love it!! thanks dad for always helping me and teaching me and letting be in with the patients. I really learned so so much from you at work. The things that i hold most valuable though is all the things you have taught ot me about serving a misison and what helped you and how it can help me!! i am really grateful for all that!!! Today we went to a giant waterfall and had some fun with the other elders in our pension. Thats what the pictures are of. Its called Los Saltos del Monday. It was gorgeous!!! Oh ya and this saturday we have a...... drum roll please... BAPTISM!!!!! haha i am way excited but we still need to teach him alot this week to be ready. We have family home evening alot with the members and less actives on sundays and mondays alot. The love it and it really helps them out!! We have one tonight for the family thats dad is getting baptized this saturday and so were gonna make it really special. Anything you got in mind that could be a fun or interesting FHE please tell me!! haha I could use all the help i can get. Sounds like eveyone is doing great though. I got your dear elders last week from mom grandma and kelsey so that was really really nice!! tell grandma to keep writing me through dear elder along with everyone else cause it comes really fast... it only took 6 days to get to me. I need grandmas email though to write her back cause thats the easiest for me. Well i will have another email with this one cause i need to send more pictures but this one is already to big. Elder Hunt and His Comp

Dad and family,
Thanks so much for all the emails and the love that you send with them!! I look so forward every week to hearing from you and whats going on at home with everything and everyone! Sounds like you guys are having tons of fun without me and i am way jealous! those were good times up there at the kids pond. Spanish is starting to pick up. I just need to open my mouth and speak and when i do i am blessed. We taught a less active family last night and watched the movie about when christ was crucified and after usually my companion talks but i just took over and talked all about it and after my companion said taht my testimony was way amazing!! i felt the spirit so so strong in the room and i knew that it was cause i was brave and just said whatever i wanted to and the lord blessed with me the power of the universal language... the spirit! and i know that everyone can understand that!! The food is actually pretty good. We eat alot of chicken and meat and tons of spaghetti and rice! I can handle all of it fine! its usually really really good!! We eat with the members everyday for lunch and usually for dinner our investigators always feed us something! so thats really nice.. i havent had to cook anything more than cold cereal and a hot dog! haha i wish they had other cereal here. its very limited so i am stuck with pretty much the same thing always and the milk cartons are tiny so like 2 bowls and i am outta milk! haha but this week was really good! i felt the spirit strong and i am finally comfortable with jsut about everything! of course there is hard days and i wished i was home sittin on the couch watching soccer with everyone or hanging out with kelsey like i normally would... or going to dinner with the claytons but i know this is where i am supposed to be and at the end of the day i feel great about the things that i have accomplished. They might have not even been that great but i know that they impacted somebody that day! well i hope... haha i have one request for the next package that you send! a pedometer!! i wanna know how much i am walking! our area is huge! haha and i love when you guys send me quotes! tell kelsey i want more of those from her! also i ate at burger king this week for the first time and i was all excited and what not for some real food that i am used to and then i realized that... ITS BURGER KING... the food is not that good at all. haha and of course i was right! but i still enjoyed it! it was nothing compared to my BACONATOR but it sufficed me at the time. People here ALL have motor cycles and scooters and they like to mexi them all out like cars and put SUPER SUPER loud exhausts and other things like that are just annoying as crap!! It hasnt really rained yet besides a little drizzle her and there. It has been fairly chilly though and i have been wearing my long sleeve shirts with my long sleeve sweater everyday for the last 4 or 5 days. People here also love to watch cartoons like the simpsons!! they are like little kids! they know all the cartoons and just love them! Haha also they have water wells taht they get there water out of it they are really poor! it makes me so grateful to have running water and even more grateful for all you do to provide for us daily!! The bishopric here has 3 people but the 2nd counselo hasnt come forever and we finally got him to say he would come every other week! how gerat! haha another thing htat is so sick here is that the women just breast feed anywhere at anytime and dont cover up at all!! UGH!! and the woman dont shave at all! haha i am still trying to get used to the latin american culture obviously! haha also the men here... well everyone loves to drink ESPECIALLY on sudays so there is ´burrachos´ everywhere in the streets saying crazy things! haha So in a lesson yesterday a lday asked how come the blacks didnt receive the preisthood until they did and i said we dont have doctorine but tried to kinda explain why... but it was impossimble in spanish!! haha so i said screw it and gave up. I am still trying to get used to translating my thoughts from english into spanish!! its difficult!! But thanks for everything and i will continue to work hard for everyone! i got a cable for my camera so pictures should be attached to this!!
